Downley Parish Speedwatch

Road safety is always a priority for the Downley Parish Council. In 2021 it was proposed and agreed that as a Council with the help of local volunteers we would run Community Speedwatch.

We have a growing number of sites within the Parish boundary where we can hold Speedwatch sessions and we are always looking for volunteers to join us.

  1. It is simple to sign up
    1. Firstly visit the Community Speedwatch website and then follow the steps listed below
    2. Click on the [Register] tab.
    3. Then to the left click on [Join Existing Group]
    4. Choose [Thames Valley] from the pull down and click [Continue]
    5. Choose [Buckinghamshire] from the pull down and click [Continue]
    6. Now Choose [High Wycombe Downley Parish Speedwatch Group] from the pull down and click [Continue]
    7. Finally complete your details in the registration form and follow the emailed instructions.

Speed Indication Devices

Downley Parish Council has two Speed Indication Devices (SID) that are moved around the Parish boundary on a regular basis, we are able to analyse the data and share this with residents.
